Image Scroller module PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 15 September 2007

This module allows you display a hughe number of images on your site which can be browsed by using vertical scroller. All you need to do is to upload images to your directory. Module supports only .jpg images. Once you click on image it displays larger image using lightbox script.

How does it work?
First of all you isntall module as any other Joomla module using installer component. After that create a folder on your server where you wish to put images (NOTICE: you can only use .jpg images and extension .jpg must be in lower case). After tyou have done this open Image Scroler module and enter path to folder where you have placed images. Path to images must be as followed "/yourimagedirectory/". Notice that you have backslash "/" at the begining and at the end of folder name.

Customization
Overall width of this module is controlled by css file this.css whic can be found in "modules/img_scroller/css". If you wish to change overall width of the module and look you have to open this.css.

Find class   "#example_3 " and change the widht of module and also you can change the background color.

You can alyo change the look of arrows. Simply replace it with your own to match the colors of your site.

Based on script from http://zend.lojcomm.com.br/icarousel/

have you entered the right path to images. Check the in configuration.php file do you have "/" at the end of your domain name. Something like http://www.some.net/ if you have then remove it or you can just remove leading "/" from path to image gallery

Hi, very good module.

But I have a question. How I can to modified the numbers of display images?

Sorry for my English, I'm Spanish.

That I want to said its, that this module alone show 4 or 5 images at time, and I want to put more.

Like you can see on my website: www.kratoweb.com the scroll its so small, and I want more images at display.

I'm sorry if don't understand me good.

I uploaded the module but only the title displays. Please send exact example of path. I entered /imagescroller/ with images at 1.jpg etc, but no luck. The module looks here nice, but is no good if doesn't work other places.
